Epiphone Sheraton – U.S.A. – 1958

Electric Semi-Hollow Archtop guitar

Maple block and wings, glued mahogany neck

Rosewood fretboard

Two New Yorker-humbuckers

The Epiphone models created under Gibson’s leadership still retained many of the old brand’s features, including the Frequensator tailpiece and New York-humbuckers. However, these were later replaced by standard Gibson parts, such as the Gibson mini humbuckers.
The Sheraton was discontinued in 1970. This model was later manufactured again in the Far East.
