INFORMATION

The Larson brothers from Maurer & Co. from Chicago manufactured this dreadnought guitar in 1940 as part of their Euphonon and Prairie State brands, which were used for larger instruments with body dimensions ranging in width from 38cm / 15 inch to 68.5cm / 27 inch. They often had necks and bracings that consisted of several layers of wood and were beautifully decorated. Collectors agree that these instruments are at the same height as the best Martin and Gibson instruments thanks to their unique sound.
