INFORMATION
The Gibson ES-150 was launched in 1936 and was the first successful Spanish electric guitar.
Like many of Gibson’s models of the time, the name was a good reflection of the price: $150. For a reasonable price you got a guitar, an EH-150 Amplifier and a guitar cable.
The octagonal pickup used for the ES-150 is known as the “Charlie Christian”.
