INFORMATION

The Les Paul Standard was produced until 1960 and no more than 1700 copies were made. The model gave way to the Les Paul with double cutaway, which soon became known as the SG.
In 1968 Gibson revived the Les Paul and it has since been considered an iconic instrument. Original Les Paul Standards have therefore acquired a mythical status.
