Single pickup version of the Höfner 128. The 127 and 128 were the more ‘deluxe’ version of the Club series.
Single pickup, First versions had one Fuma pickup, from mid-1965 to early 1967, the Club-style guitars were equipped with Type 511 “Staple” pickups with “wide” plastic mountings.
Early versions had the oval control panel, the Höfner Vibrato Tailpiece which was offered as a factory-fitted option.
