The 4572(II) resembles the Gibson ES-330, but with a bolt-on neck. The standrad finish was sunburst.
Hofner supplied completed 4572 bodies to the US Ovation company from 1966 through to 1969 for use on the Ovation “Storm” and “Hurricane” semi-acoustic models.
Two Type 511 single-coil pickups, later versions had the 513 pickups. 2 volume/ two tone/ 3-way switch configuration
