INFORMATION
This groundbreaking guitar was one of the first to use electronics. It enabled the player of the instrument to turn on the element placed inside the body. The guitar could be tuned to produce pure acoustic sound, pure electric sound, or a combination of the two.
The body had a bracing construction that transferred the pressure from the top to the back, making it act as a second soundboard. The guitar also had an ebony-covered comb and a Bakelite end knob. A wooden panel on the side could be pulled open like a drawer to get to the guitar pickup.
