INFORMATION

This Style C is a Hawaii guitar. Weissenborn also made drop-shaped Hawaii guitars with a hollow neck and sloping shoulders, which he called Style 1, 2, 3 and 4. Weissenborn is best known for these latter instruments. Recently, the Hawaii guitar has seen a revival as an alternative to the National and Dobro guitars.
